Admissions
At YES, admission is not a process of selection or judgment. It is a conversation — a careful, unhurried process in which your family and our school come to understand each other. Please take all the time you need.
The Admission Process
-
- Inquiry / Request for Information
Please feel free to reach out at any time.
-
- School Information Session / Individual Consultation
-
We walk you through YES’s philosophy and daily school life.
-
- Assessment Visit
Your child spends time in the school, and together we build a shared understanding.
-
- Enrollment Discussion
-
We move forward only when both your family and our school feel it is the right fit.
Note: We do not think of this as an exam. It is time dedicated to understanding what environment is truly best for your child.
The YES assessment is not a test of academic ability or a pass/fail evaluation.
Its purpose is for your child to experience everyday life at YES — and for our school and your family to develop a shared understanding of your child’s character, strengths, and way of engaging with the world.
There are no written tests, no literacy or arithmetic assessments.
- Duration: 5 days
- Content: Participation in regular school life at YES
Note: If 5 full days are not possible, please contact us to discuss. Costs are limited to actual expenses such as school lunch and materials.
At YES, we believe in full transparency when it comes to pricing.

We are happy to explain all details during your individual consultation.

Dates will be announced on our website and SNS. Please contact us directly for individual scheduling.
*An English Immersion Program open to everyone is also held during the summer break.

After class School lunch tasting
Following Individual consultation
YES welcomes children on a short-term basis — by the day, or in one-week (5-day) blocks — for families returning from abroad or those seeking a temporary learning environment.
The exchange that happens when children from different cultural backgrounds come together is something our enrolled students treasure. “I just want to try one week” or “I’m looking for a place to land before or after our time overseas” — we welcome those conversations.
Note: Places in the short-term program are limited. We encourage you to reach out early.
A Final Note
YES is not the right school for every family — and we mean that sincerely.
That is precisely why we hope you will take the time to explore, ask questions, and discover together with us whether this is truly the right place for your child. We look forward to hearing from you.
